# Notifications

> Get notified when new patched packages are available in Root Library Catalog.

Root can notify your team when new patched packages are available for your account.

## Slack Notifications

Root can send a Slack notification to your workspace when a new patched package is published to `pkg.root.io` for your account. Each notification includes the package name, version, and ecosystem, so your team knows immediately when a secured version is ready to consume.
